Isabel is an enthusiastic, caring teacher who believes in:

• A holistic approach to voice education. I see the student as a whole person, not just as a singer.

• Scientifically-based vocal pedagogy. All techniques taught in lessons are backed by current voice research and science.

• Helping students set and achieve their own goals. You are the expert on your voice. I listen to what and how you want to communicate and provide suggestions to help you reach those goals!

• Singing in a lot of different styles. I believe our voices are strongest when we learn to use them in a bunch of different ways! If you study with me, I'll encourage you to sing all sorts of music - and I'll explain how to alter your vocal mechanism to accomplish the different vocal tasks required of those different styles.

• Giving everyone, regardless of level, age, gender, sexuality, race, or ability, a safe, joyful place to sing!
